A man has been charged with more than 90 offences following extensive investigations into a significant number of property offences in the Brisbane area.
It will be alleged that since April 2017, a large amount of vehicles and personal property were stolen from secure carparks and garages in numerous areas spanning from Brisbane’s north to the Gold Coast, including Norman Park, New Farm, Albion, Coorparoo, Eight Mile Plains and Southport.
Police launched two public appeals in that time in an effort to locate a man believed to be involved in the offences.
On August 9, officers from the Brisbane Regional Crime Group arrested a 31-year-old Mount Gravatt East man at an address in Runcorn in relation to the matter.
He has since been charged with up to 95 offences including 33 counts of enter premises, 15 counts of unlawful use of motor vehicles, 12 counts of receiving tainted property, 11 counts of stealing and five counts of burglary.
The man has been remanded in custody to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 24.
Police would like to thank the public for their ongoing assistance with the matter.
Investigations are continuing.
